At Trinity, many opportunities are available to connect with others.  Whatever your areas of interest are - fellowship, prayer, Bible study, outreach, leadership - there is a place for you to serve in the Trinity family.

Email us indicating your area(s) of interest and we'll help you get connected!

We believe membership in the local church benefits both the church and the individual. Membership is not needed to have a genuine relationship with God, but membership is a formal identification with the local church, which provides nurture and spiritual care. Membership provides a basic accountability structure within the church, and it is a relational investment in the lives of other people.  Membership is a kind of covenant we make before God, to walk alongside other Christians and grow together.

The first requirement for membership at Trinity are a testimony of faith in Christ for salvation and agreement with our Statement of Faith.  We also ask you to complete a short application that asks for a brief description of your story of coming to faith in Christ.  The Elders of the church review the application and conduct a short interview, after which they recommend membership approval to the church at one of our congregational meetings.

A second prerequisite for membership is attending “Welcome to the Family” - a class covering the history, doctrine, and organization of both Trinity Community Church and the EFCA.  Pastor Jim or one of the elders teach this study throughout the year.

We encourage regular attenders of our church to consider membership, because members have a formal voice in decisions and direction of the church.  Positions of Deacon and Deaconness are open to members only, and the position of elder is open only to male members of the congregation.  All members may vote on matters that come before the church at our Congregational Meetings.

If you have decided to make Trinity your church home, we encourage you to formalize the relationship and become a member.
Email Pastor Jim if you are desire to become a member.
